Why choose our natural plastic free deodorant? Commercial antiperspirants can be full of dangerous substances, our all-natural substitute with no bicarbonate soda. It’s perfect for those with sensitive skin or people trying natural deodorant for the first time. Smelly armpits are caused by the bacteria that grows in the damp underarm environment created by sweat. The bacteria feed on the fats and proteins that are released by our cells. Antiperspirants products stop underarm odour because they stop you from sweating. Their ingredients cause skin cells to swell until they block the ducts that release sweat. Aluminium compounds are the active ingredient in ALL anti-perspirant, and It turns out there is evidence that aluminium is a neurotoxin that should not be in the human body. Our Deodorant doesn’t stop you from sweating, instead it targets the bacteria that causes the smell to stop underarm odour from being produced. Our Eco Deodorant contains essential oils that work together to eliminate odour and fight bacteria including:
- Tea tree oil has an herbal scent and is both antibacterial and antifungal.
- Lemon has a fresh and clean aroma and has anti-fungal and antimicrobial qualities and acts as a deodorant.
- Lavender it’s also a wonderful addition to our natural deodorant as it is a pleasantly scented essential oil, and also has anti-septic qualities that prevent the infections that cause body odour.
Bicarbonate of Soda is a great ingredient to combat body odour without subjecting your armpits to a variety of chemicals. However, some people have more sensitive skin and this is why we offer the option of without this addition in our natural deodorant. I have to say I was a bit weary about these but I tried them and have to say they are best thing I have ever used. I work in a kitchen and was always having to refresh my spray because of sweating, but with these I only use once a day and it last. Brilliant glad I tried!

I ordered the deodorant containing no bicarb. I had to reapply a couple of times when I wore it on a normal workday. This was before the heatwave. It works great if you aren’t moving around much. However, the one containing bicarb may work better and it does smell great 👍

With bicarb works a dream and smells so good! I tried the non bicarb one after having reactions to other bicarb deodorants and that didn’t do as good a job, if I got too hot I had to reapply. I tried the bicarb one in a last ditch attempt at smelling fresh for the whole day and funnily enough, no reaction! So I’m super happy with bicarb and use up the non bicarb up on the days that I’m lazying around and not likely to get too hot!

This really didn’t work for me. I was really excited to use it because the reviews looked so promising, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. I work in a bar so it can get quite warm and I’m moving around a lot and after about an hour or so I notice that I smell bad, which isn’t great especially when interacting with customers. I’ve also noticed by the end of the day when not at work I smell a bit as well. I’ve had an eco deoderant before so its not like I’m not used to the change in formula. I’m quite a sweaty person naturally so I got the one with bicarb, but unfortunately I’m just too sweaty for it. I do however love the smell and packaging, but overall its just not for me.
