About Our Packaging
At Green Planet Beauty we have put extensive research into all of our packaging to find the options kindest to the planet. We wanted to share with you, the best way to recycle, compost or resuse each component of your order!
Product Packaging
Product Labels
Our product labels are all made from paper with no varnish or finish. These labels are both recyclable and biodegradable.
Cardboard Tubes
Our cardboard tubes are recyclable when rinsed and dried, our dry shampoo tube is also refillable! We offer refill pouches of our dry shampoo exclusively on our website.
Glass Jars & Bottles
After rinsing and drying, our glass jars & bottles (including aluminium lids) are recyclable. They are also reusable! We offer refills for all of our liquid products, which come in our compostable refill pouches.
Aluminium Tins & Bottles
After rinsing and drying, our aluminium tins & bottles are recyclable. They are also reusable! We offer refills for all of our liquid products, which come in our compostable refill pouches.
Refill Pouches
Our resealable refill pouches are made from Kraft paper with a water proof coating made from cornstarch. These pouches are recyclable with paper when rinsed out, but are also 100% compostable, breaking down in as little as 4 weeks.
Packaging Materials
Paper Tape
The tape we use is made with a biodegradable natural rubber adhesive, this tape is recyclable with paper and cardboard.
Padded Envelopes
These strong paper envelopes, stuffed with 100% recycled paper fibres to provide cushioning. Recyclable and compostable (if cut into small pieces)
Cardboard Boxes
All of our cardboard boxes are 100% recyclable, but are also easy to fold down and reuse whenever you need a cardboard box.
Biodegradable Packing Peanuts
Made from 100% plant-based, renewable materials, ensuring they are both sustainable and safe for the environment. These peanuts are compostable and can even be dissolved in water.
Shipping Labels
Our thermal shipping labels come from sustainable sources and are 100% biodegradable and recyclable.
Hive Wrap
Our hive wrap is 100% Kraft paper and can be recycled with your general paper and cardboard recycling.
